The C300 is Anker's answer to the question most people should be asking first: how little power station can I get away with? For phones, laptops, cameras and lights, the answer is often this much.
The review below uses Anker's published specifications and documentation. We have not tested this unit, and no prices, ratings or availability appear here.

Anker SOLIX C300 Portable Power Station

Considerations

- Low AC ceiling
- No expansion battery
Final verdict
Anker SOLIX C300 Portable Power Station suits buyers who prioritise weekend camping and van trips. Worth knowing: 300W of AC output rules out most kitchen appliances and power tools.
Who this unit is for
Travellers, campers and photographers who need to keep devices alive rather than run appliances. It is also a sensible first power station for someone unsure whether they need one at all.
It is the wrong unit for outage backup of a fridge, or for anything with a heating element.
USB-C is the point
High-wattage USB-C output charges modern laptops directly, avoiding the double conversion of running a mains charger through the inverter. For a device-only kit, that is the efficient path.
Multiple ports mean a laptop, a phone and a camera battery can share the unit without an adapter pile.
Weight and build
At about 7.7 lb with a folding handle, this is genuinely packable — the difference between a unit that comes on the trip and one that stays in the boot.
The integrated light is more useful than it sounds in a tent or during an outage, and it draws very little from the pack.
Where it falls short
300W of AC output is the hard limit. Kettles, hair dryers, microwaves and power tools are all out, and there is no boost mode to work around it.
There is no expansion battery either, so 288Wh is what you have. If that sounds tight, the RIVER 3 Plus offers 600W and an expansion port for a modest weight penalty.

Final verdict
The C300 does the compact job properly: LiFePO4 chemistry, strong USB-C output and a weight that means it actually gets packed. Just be honest about the 300W ceiling before you buy.
